What is OakMD? OakMD is an online telemedicine platform that connects eligible adults with licensed providers for prescription-based treatment options including testosterone therapy, weight loss programs, hair loss treatment, and more.

Is OakMD a real medical provider? OakMD is a telemedicine platform staffed by licensed medical providers. All treatment decisions are made by licensed physicians or advanced practice providers.

Is OakMD HIPAA compliant? Yes. All data transmission and storage on the OakMD platform is HIPAA compliant. Your health information is encrypted and never shared without your explicit consent.

The Process

How do I get started? Choose a treatment category, click the relevant CTA (e.g., "Start TRT Evaluation"), and complete your online intake form. A provider will review your information and follow up.

How long does provider review take? Most intakes for non-controlled treatments are reviewed within 24–48 hours. Testosterone therapy requires a live video visit with a licensed provider and laboratory-confirmed diagnosis before treatment can begin. You'll receive a notification when your review is complete.

Do I need to come in person? No. OakMD is fully online. All consultations, reviews, and follow-ups are conducted digitally.

Treatments

Are treatments guaranteed? No. Treatment is only issued when a licensed provider determines it is clinically appropriate based on your individual health profile. Not all patients are candidates for every treatment.

Can I get a prescription directly? Prescriptions are issued only after provider review. There are no instant or automatic prescriptions issued through OakMD.

Pricing

How much does treatment cost? Pricing varies by treatment category and program. You'll receive complete pricing information during the intake process before any commitment is made.

Does OakMD accept insurance? Services are offered on a cash-pay basis. Insurance is not accepted and claims are not submitted to insurers, Medicare, or Medicaid.

Privacy

Who sees my health information? Your health information is accessed by the licensed providers within the independent medical practice involved in your care and by authorized support personnel, as described in the applicable Notice of Privacy Practices. OakMD does not sell your data.

Can I delete my account? Yes. Contact admin@oakmd.com with a deletion request and we will process it in accordance with applicable regulations.
